Our terms and conditions.

R&R Auto Haul, LLC (“R&R Auto Haul”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a fully licensed and bonded auto transport company based in Chicago, Illinois. These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern the auto transport services (“Services”) provided by R&R Auto Haul to you, the customer (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).


1. Acceptance of Agreement

By placing an order with R&R Auto Haul or using our Services, you:

  • Confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.

  • Acknowledge that you are entering into a legally binding contract with R&R Auto Haul.

  • Represent that you are either the legal owner of the vehicle(s) or have full authorization from the owner to engage R&R Auto Haul’s Services.

If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must not use our Services.


2. Services Provided

R&R Auto Haul offers vehicle transportation services using its own fleet or through partner carriers. We will transport your operable or inoperable vehicle(s) (“Vehicle(s)”) between the agreed-upon pickup and delivery locations.

We do not guarantee specific pickup or delivery dates due to potential delays from weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen events. Estimated times are not binding.


3. Placing an Order

To initiate Services, you must provide the following:

  • Vehicle information (make, model, year, operability)

  • Pickup and delivery addresses

  • First available pickup date

  • Contact information for parties at both pickup and delivery

  • Type of transport (open/enclosed)

  • Payment method

We will confirm your order details via email. You must review and approve the information. By doing so, you accept the terms and any applicable charges.


4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Initial Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of booking. This can be paid via credit/debit card.

  • Remaining Balance: Must be paid in full at the time of delivery to the driver via cash or certified check.

For certain transport types (e.g., motorcycles or port shipments), we may require payment in full at the time of booking.

Failure to pay on time may result in additional fees, storage charges, or cancellation of your transport.

If a payment is reversed, declined, or subject to a chargeback, you are responsible for the full amount due, plus collection costs, interest (up to 1.5% per month or
the maximum allowed by law), and attorney fees.


5. SMS Terms and Conditions

 

SMS For Consent Communication

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
No mobile opt and data will be shared with 3rd parties.

Types of SMS Communications

Upon consenting to receive text messages from R&R Auto Haul, you may receive communications related to time of arrival and updated. Please note that standard messaging disclosures apply.

Message Frequency

Our SMS messages frequency is estimated to be more than 100 text messages daily across all users.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Carriers may charge fees for each message sent or received. These fees can vary based on the carrier’s pricing structure and whether the message is sent domestically or internationally.

Opt-In Method

Customers may opt-in for SMS messaging from R&R Auto Haul verbally during a call initiated through our website www.rrautohaul.com During the call, customers will be asked: “Do you agree to receive texts from R&R Auto Haul? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help, text STOP to opt-out. See our privacy policy at https://rrautohaul.com/privacy-policy/

This consent agreement will not be shared with third parties and affiliates for marketing purposes. No SMS communication will be initiated without customer consent.

Opt-out

Customers can opt-out of SMS messaging from R&R Auto Haul by replying STOP at any time to any received SMS message. Once opted-out, they will receive no further SMS communication. Customers can opt back in at any time by replying START.

6. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Before Dispatch: If you cancel before we assign a driver, a $50 dispatch fee per standard vehicle or $100 per motorcycle/trike/ATV will apply.

  • After Dispatch: If canceled after a driver is assigned, you forfeit your deposit as our Services have been rendered.

  • After Pickup: Orders cannot be changed or canceled after pickup.

All changes or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to dispatch@rrautohaul.com.


7. Vehicle Preparation

Before pickup, you must:

  • Provide keys

  • Have 1/4 to 1/2 tank of fuel

  • Disarm alarms or provide instructions and remotes

  • Remove all loose parts and racks

  • Remove or deactivate toll devices

  • Ensure operability unless otherwise disclosed

  • Remove hazardous, illegal, or prohibited items

You may include up to 100 lbs of personal belongings in the trunk or below the window line. Excess must be disclosed in advance and may incur fees or be rejected by the driver.

For port or motorcycle shipments, no personal items are allowed in the vehicle.


8. Pickup & Delivery

Both you and the driver will inspect the Vehicle(s) and sign the Bill of Lading at pickup and delivery. It is your responsibility to note any damage on the Bill of Lading at delivery. Failure to do so waives your right to claim damages.

If you (or your authorized representative) are not present at pickup or delivery:

  • Additional storage or redelivery fees may apply

  • You waive your right to inspect or dispute damages


9. Insurance and Damage Claims

All carriers used by R&R Auto Haul carry standard cargo insurance. Claims for damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery to both the carrier and R&R Auto Haul.

R&R Auto Haul is not responsible for any damage, loss, or delays once your vehicle is in transit with a third-party carrier.


10. Limitations of Liability

R&R Auto Haul is not liable for:

  • Personal items in the vehicle

  • Mechanical malfunctions not caused by our service

  • Delays due to weather, traffic, or force majeure

  • Damage due to vehicle condition (e.g., leaks, worn parts)

Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by you for our Services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including loss of use or profits.


11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless R&R Auto Haul, its affiliates, and contractors from any claims, damages, costs, or legal expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement or your failure to comply with federal, state, or local laws.


12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any legal action arising out of this Agreement shall be brought in the appropriate courts located in Cook County, Illinois.


13. Miscellaneous

  • This Agreement represents the entire understanding between you and R&R Auto Haul.

  • No waiver or modification is valid unless in writing.

  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

  • Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
